We are looking for an Account Executive who will be responsible for both supporting the new business development process as well as leading business growth with our existing clients. The ideal candidate will be highly customer focused, possess a strong work ethic, and be a natural self-starter that can take initiative without waiting for direction. They must thrive on eliciting client needs and delivering on customer expectations, possess diplomacy in handling difficult situations, and thrive on delivering on client needs.
Salary $45,000 to $55,000 will be commensurate based on experience. At this time, we are only looking for candidates interested in full-time employment.
New Business Development
Assist with outreach and qualification of sales prospects.
Identify ways to continuously improve prospecting success, as well as BD proposals and close rate.
Assist in the development of marketing materials and content.
Compiling content from previous proposals
Collaborate to develop new, client specific content for proposals
Assisting with design and layout of assets for sales and marketing materials.
Recording client response activity in Salesforce CRM.
Maintain repository of Proposal responses and reusable content.
Create contracts for new business opportunities.
Facilitate electronic signature process for NDAs, SOW, and related project contracts.
Serve as a primary liaison between prospects/clients and internal delivery teams, to define project proposals including project scope, budget tolerance and projected timeline.
Communicate 1:1 with clients to understand their goals and challenges; and be an action-oriented problem solver on their behalf. The ideal candidate will thrive in helping clients through challenging situations, and proactively lead and direct our team’s efforts to solve them.
Work directly with our business development team, and the project delivery team leads to define project opportunities that arise from new business development activities.
Ensure eLabs and our clients are working together optimally to foster growth of each other’s business.
Partner with our clients to develop creative and strategic recommendations to help support their business.
Advocate internally on our clients behalf to ensure Exclamation Labs teams have the right information to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Experience: 2+ years in a similar role with comparable responsibilities, preferably in a digital agency
Education: A four-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT or a related field
Skills: Strong technology background; Outstanding communication, organizational, and client-facing skills
Other: Some travel required; Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction — We do not sponsor applicants for work visas.
Other: Eastern Time Zone residency required
